Do you enjoy implementing processes and procedures and driving the whole HR department forward from the initial stages through to successful completion and ongoing strategy.

Due to successful future development of the company, team and business growth our well-established client is looking for a passionate and highly driven HR Advisor. You will provide 360 on-site HR operations, reporting into the MD of the company. This will cover key areas of HR systems and admin, people and development, employment, training, policies & procedures, employee benefits and developing and implementing the overall HR strategy.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries Oversee processes, procedures & compliance practices
Employee performance management ie. appraisals, KPIs & probation reviews & training needs
Co-ordinate payroll function for all on-site employees
Liaising with operations and management team
Manage HR information system & reporting
Prepare HR & annual budget with group HR Manager
Manage new starter inductions & leaver process
General tasks such as contracts, offer letters

The Ideal candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Extensive proven experience of working in a standalone HR role, preferably within a SME and manufacturing environment
Ideally qualified to CIPD level 5
Evidence of having recruited for a wide range of employees, managing the process from job design to interviewing
Evidence of developing people, identifying and solving skills gaps in the workforce
Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and a diligent approach, remains calm under the pressure of meeting deadlines
Possesses an up-to-date working knowledge of Employment Law and an appetite for staying abreast of developments
Previous experience of managing employment tribunals and dealing with ACAS matters
Effective and approachable communicator, with the ability to deal tactfully with difficult situations
IT Proficient and a confident user of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
