We’re on the lookout for a tenacious and results-driven Business Development Manager, with a strong sales track record.

The Business Development Manager is a fantastic opportunity, working for a leading Events business based in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, nurturing and grasping new business opportunities, ultimately growing the business client base.

You’ll be joining an innovative and supportive business who will reward you for your hard work. Full training on the company’s products and services will be provided.

The Salary is £25,000 – £40,000 + commission

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect for new clients, getting in contact with decision makers
  • Cold calling where suitable and meet with potential new clients
  • Strong research on prospect clients
  • Develop and deliver engaging and appealing sales pitches
  • Work with wider team in order to develop bespoke client proposals
  • Work closely with Project Managers in order to meet client needs
  • Accurately record all activity of company CRM
  • Attending industry-related functions, shows and events
  • Report pipeline, sales figures and attend regular sales meetings
  • Develop industry knowledge
  • Raising quotations

Skills & Experience

  • Strong Business Development track record, with a real emphasis on delivering results
  • Previous experience from the Events sector
  • Influential, professional manner with the ability to close a sales
  • Self-motivated
  • Forward planning
  • Confident in preparing and delivering presentations
