We are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive for our successful client from the retail sector, based in Southam.

The Role

The purpose of the Business Development Executive is to proactively source, develop & close new sales opportunities

Who are they looking for?

The Business Development Executive should have good resilience, persistence and tenacity, with a target-driven approach

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Processing orders and handling customer queries
  • Proactively sourcing new business leads from a variety of sources including industry-related literature & database contacts, engaging with key decision makers
  • Look to exceed sales & revenue targets
  • Regular updating of system on prospect client contact information
  • Progressing of sales leads, creating regular call cycle
  • Process bookings and taking / processing payments for sales
  • Submit weekly sales report to management

Skills & Experience

  • Previous business development experience (b2b), with a proven track record
  • Excellent rapport-builder
  • Strong negotiator and influencer
  • Good research skills
  • High level of self-motivation
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong customer focus
  • Target-driven

The annual salary of the role is £21,000 with additional on target earnings. Working hours are Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00. An exciting opportunity to join a successful company.
